As a Research Associate in the Marine Cell Technologies team, I am primarily involved in the isolation and development of cell lines from a variety of tissues, currently focused on Australasian snapper and Chinook salmon. The cell lines developed by us have been and will be used in different key areas such as ecotoxicology, bacterial and viral studies, reproduction, whole animal modelling, and cellular agriculture.
