My research interest is in applying new technologies, tools, and approaches in plant breeding to develop better crops faster. I am a Plant Scientist with experience in three notable areas: biotechnology, molecular markers, and data science. I have successfully applied my skills and expertise in plants such as potato, kiwifruit, and grape. My current work focuses on identifying new Pinot noir clones by leading research phenotyping of several thousand Pinot noir somaclone grape plants generated through the Wine Grape Improvement programme of Plant & Food Research.
