In my role as an Executive Assistant, I support our Director Customer and Commercial in his role looking after science commercialisation, business model innovation, intellectual property protection, and international business. I also assist our Director Māori Strategy, Partnerships and Enterprise as they lead the development of Māori direction and engagement. I have had extensive experience across industries, having worked in both the public sector in the research, education and medical fields, and private enterprise in sales, marketing and importing. I am also a trained Health and Safety representative a member our health, safety and wellbeing committee at our Mt Albert Research Centre. It’s exciting to be part of an innovative science sector focusing on plants, food and sustainability.
