My current role is as EA support to the Board of Directors of Plant & Food Research, which includes organising and managing meetings for the main Board, the Audit & Risk Committee and the Remuneration Committee. I am also Visitor Administrator and provide EA support to the Joint Graduate School in Plant and Food Science Governance Group with Committee members from Plant & Food Research and the University of Auckland. I joined Plant & Food Research in 2016 and was EA support to the General Manager of Science, Bioprotection, who then became the Group General Manager for Science Services. I moved to my current role in July 2021. Outside of work I enjoy walking, gardening, reading and craft work. I am a passionate knitter, knitting for Charities such as Plunket, Sands, Kiwi Family Trust, Foster Hope and Little Sprouts and the Middlemore Foundation. I am a volunteer for Age Concern and am currently connected with a local lady who shares my passion for dogs, cross-stitching and knitting, and has a great sense of humour. I also have a passion for V8 motor racing and I am a member of a couple of car clubs.
