Kia ora rā! He uri tēnei nō Raukawa ki Wharepūhunga, Ngāti Pikiao, Taranaki Tūturu me Te Aupouri. I first worked for Plant & Food Research as a Summer Student in 2018. After completing my Master of Science degree in Biochemistry, I returned home to Te Puke where I have been based since 2021. My current role spans across horticultural workstreams within the Plant Pathology Team and the Māori Partnerships space. I find great purpose in identifying and supporting the alignment of iwi Māori research aspirations with the science capabilities at Plant & Food Research; providing clarity to both for the betterment of Aotearoa as a whole.
